It's trivia where any correct answer counts — but the least obvious correct answer scores most. Instead of one right answer, every question has a small, fully enumerated set of valid answers with different rarity points.
Is Outlier Duel free, and do I need an account?
Free and no signup. Games run in your browser with server-verified scoring; you can play the daily five, replay unlimited sets, and duel friends without ever creating an account.
How does the daily challenge work?
Everyone worldwide plays the same five questions each UTC day, frozen at midnight. Come back tomorrow for a fresh five. Your clock and score are kept by the server, so refreshing the page never buys extra time.
How do friend duels work?
Finish any game, tap “Challenge a friend,” and they play your exact five prompts. Their answers unlock yours round by round — only after they've submitted their own. See the full rules →
